Cobras, Mustangs & a V-max . . .

Hey you guys, i've been very very slack again,
mucho apologies for this,
So, to cheer you up, hopefully xD
I thought i'd do a little blog about my fav cars,
Cause I LOVE THEM & WANT THEM!!!!!

There's a V-Max chucked in for good measure too,
my uncle's got one & it goes like a rocket,
trust me, i've been on it . . . I like this :))))

My other uncle's also got a bike
(GSXR 1100, that also goes well too, especially in the wet, when you hit a drain cover & get the speed wobbles . . . Good Fricking times)
He's in the RAF, so he takes it down the run way,
quite the track for a bike don't you think???

A girl can dream can't she??????

English designer John Reed, was contracted by Yamaha to design the ultimate custom bike.
He designed a muscle cruiser . . . That is the beast below
AKA . . . The V-Max . . .
Say no More . . .

Now, for the cars hehe . . . YAAAAAY!!!

Below is just one of my 2 ultimate motors . . .
The gorgeous AC Cobra
BUT It's gotta be a '67' - model 427

God Bless Carroll Shelby

Shelby Motors built twenty two 427 competition roadsters. In 1965, one was selected and converted into a special model called the 427 "Cobra to End All Cobras." The first one of these (number CSX3015) was originally part of a European promotional tour before its conversion. This conversion called for making the original racing model street legal with mufflers, a windshield and bumpers amongst other modifications. But some things were not modified, including the racing rear end, brakes and headers. The most notable modification is the addition of Twin Paxton Superchargers.
This gave the car a claimed 800 brake horsepower
(Are you Serious, that's some gee gee power right there)
(600 kW) and 800 lb·ft (1,085 N·m) of torque at 3000 rpm. Officially 0–60 mph (0–97 km/h) was achieved in 4.5 seconds . . .
That's pretty amazing for '67' motor don't you think??
Shelby's original model, CSX3015,
was kept by Carroll Shelby himself over the years as a personal car
(How lucky is he btw)
Sometimes entering it into local races like Turismos Visitadores and
the Cannonball-Run race in Nevada, where he was known to be 'Waking up whole towns, blowing out windows, throwing belts and catching fire a couple of times . . . but finishing.

The CSX3015 was auctioned on 22 January 2007, at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in Scottsdale, Arizona,
it went for $5 million plus commission (£2.8 million) . . .
That's money well spent I do believe.

Below is the 2nd of my ultimate motors . . .
The gorgeous Shelby GT500 Mustang
Gotta be a '68' - GT500
God Bless Carroll Shelby

For 1967, the GT 350 carried over the K-Code high performance 289 with a 'COBRA' aluminum hi rise.
The GT 500 was added to the lineup, equipped with the 428 Police Interceptor. These later cars carried over few of the performance modifications of the 1965–66 GT350s, although they did feature more cosmetic changes.
In September 1967, production was moved to the A.O. Smith Company of Ionia, Michigan, under Ford control. Shelby American had substantially less involvement after this time.

For 1968, the Cobra name was applied to both models, and they were now
marketed as the Shelby Cobra GT 350 and the Shelby GT 500 . . . SWOON
In february 1968, the Cobra GT 500 KR 'King of the Road' debuted,
under the hood was a 428 cubic-inch Cobra Jet V8,
which was rated at 335 horsepower (250 kW)
(Me likey V8 very very much)

The 1967 model rose in popularity after being featured as the premier car in
the 2000 remake of 'Gone in Sixty Seconds'
The film also helped boost the popularity of the car's black-and-white paint job, which is commonly called an "Eleanor" paint job in tribute to the film

Meet Eleanor . . . Isn't she LUSH

This model below is the 2008 version that appeared in the new series of
Knightrider.
But the new series came without David Hasslehoff and a whole new K.I.T.T.
The original K.I.T.T 2000, was a Pontiac Firebird, that some say, was way cooler than the K.I.T.T 3000, which is a 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR, staring at you now, below, but what do you think???

The Mustang will be auctioned off at a Hollywood memorabilia auction courtesy of Profiles In History.

Valued between $25,000 & $35,000 the celebrity show car looks the part of a Shelby GT500KR Mustang Right????
Wrong . . . Under the hood of this one, you won't be getting a V8, never mind a supercharged version, K.I.T.T. sports a good 'ol' 4.0l V6 with a 5 speed automatic transmission (WTF) . . . TRES BORING :(((
But Hey . . . All is not lost . . .
You'll get the awesome red sweeping light up front (Greaattttt)
and all the proceeds go to a children's charity.

Hopefully someone who appreciates a motor like this, snaps it up & builds it into a Monster Mustang with some REAL muscle under the hood, cause come on guys, let's be honest here . . . That's how this machine should be!!!!!

This is a better picture of a 2008 GT500
They really are Hot Hot Hot Motors, but I gotta say,
I'm keeping it old school on all the cars
totally loving my '67' & '68' Shelbys
One day you will be mine!!!!

Hope you guys liked them as much as I do :))))

  5. I don't understand owning fast cars, it's not like you can drive them fast anywhere. Seems like such a waste.
