  1. I'm always a bit jealous of people who get snow! I find it enchanting, but it's probably because I've never seen it before!

I love the idea of snow and of stormy weather. At one point it was my greatest dream to live in stunning Seattle. Sadly, growing up in a country that has around 12 hours of sunlight every day and a yearly average of 21°C (70°F), I doubt very much that I'd cope in a cold environment. I also get cold very quickly, I really have no tollerance for it. BIG SAD!!! I can, however, stand the heat, dry heat being my favourite, so these days, my dream destination is gorgeous Arizona!

Wherever you are, Dani, it's really very beautiful! Keeping fingers crossed that Jack Frost pays you a nice visit! :)

    1. Awwww, we don't get it that often, every couple of years if we're lucky, & even when we do get it, it doesn't stick hehe, it has been known, maybe twice since i've been gracing the earth with my presence lol.
I have to say I do like the summer, but my fav time of year is the winter, nice walk along the beach on a crisp sunny day is just amazing, I love the seasons :)

My home is a tiny island off the coast of France, 45 square miles, surrounded by the sea, & I wouldn't change it for the world lol, bet you can't even comprehend that coming from the States :))

& watch this space for Jack Frosts visit :)

  3. So, I'm guessing the Channel Islands, Jersey maybe? You don't have to answer that! I do dream of the States, but actually, I'm from Africa, a small harbour town on the south east coast of Southern Africa. Port Elizabeth, to be exact! No one's ever heard of it! It's been unseasonably hot here, in the southern hemisphere, so maybe it'll be nice and cold there! You know, to balance things out! :)

    1. Haha, I'm guessing Google maybe??? Yeah, bang on, it's gorgeous over here, well it is if you venture outta town, I call it concrete city, cause they just keep building offices & flats :(((( get out in the country & it's beautiful, I'm lucky enough to live across the road from the beach so i'm ALL good. Total water babe, couldn't be away from the ocean.
& you did say you were in Africa, sorry about that, just googled Port Elizabeth & it looks beautiful, you're lucky enough to be the sea too.

  6. No worries! The city is no good for me either! I live in a country suburb on the outskirts of an equine estate, so like you, I live in a beautiful area! The beach is not too far away, so I regularly head down for a nice long walk. I'm more of a beach trail girl, as water finds me a little out of my element! I think I will appoint you resident mermaid/siren!

Can't wait for summer to kick in so I can get in the sea :))) & you say an equine estate, does that have horses?

    1. Lots of horses! The riding school is just down the road and there are plenty of farms all around. There are the cutest donkeys, Welsh ponies, Shetland ponies, miniature horses and sheep here, too! A few km in the other direction, we have a game farm with giraffes, zebras, wildebeest (bewilder-beasts!), leopards and many more! :)

  8. Don't even get me started talking about the storms. I live in the Prairies where the skies develop into some wicked summer thunderstorms. I can watch that stuff all day long.
