It's Frisky Friday peeps :D
Just thought i'd share some of my tattoos, since i'm thinking of
getting another one, bit of an addict I am :)
'TATTOOS are one of the only things you can take to the grave
Having tattoos does not make someone a delinquent
Some people hang their art . . . We wear ours ;)'
There's still a lot of stigma about tattoos, let alone tatts on a woman.
What do you guys think about Tatts
& do you have any???

ReplyDeleteThanks ^_^
DeleteThose look good. I especially like the dream catcher. My father had tattoos so I grew up around them - just don't have any myself. But I admire the effort to do them and to get them.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I've always loved tattoos, since was about 13, took me until I was about 24 to get the first one lol, too chicken, but ever since then, i've had an addiction to them lol.
DeleteI love everything & anything to do with Native American Indians, i've got loads of dreamcatchers, but that one, is one I got in Canada, took it my tattooist & asked him to draw it up, then ink it up, one of a kind :)
No tattoos for me. No idea what to even get to start with. :P
ReplyDeleteIt's something you have to think long and hard about :) If you really want one, you know cause the urge will be overwhelming hehe :)
DeleteThose are some really nice tattoos. I like the dreamcatcher a lot. I don't have any tattoos and I'm not sure if I want one. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I wanted to let you know I do drink ciders from time to time so you should check back and I might just review one.
ReplyDeleteNo tattoos & not wanting one, i can understand that, it's not everyone's bag hehe, each to their own :))) & i'll defo stop by to check out that cider review, yes please, i'm a total Cider Spider ^_^
DeleteHey thanks for your comment on my blog http://lureofthedarkside.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeletei really appreciate it that you liked it and found it interesting to read.
it was a bit hard for me to read your comment since my internet won´t show up comments and followers until a few minutes pass and they magically appear.lol.
whatever my computer is crazy.
truth be told i still can't see if you are following me or not but i guess it will appear as your comment appeared.
i too have a thing for tattoos, i want to get one on my wrist and one on my back.
i want them to be an Ankh and a chinese letter or another symbol that will mean something to me.
i especially love your dreamcatcher one!
again thank you for checking my blog out it makes me so happy when people do so.
bye
Hey, yeah I am following you, but i'm a bit new to this, (still a blogging virgin) lol,
DeleteAs for the tatts, thanks for the comment about my dreamcatcher, i love it :))) & the ankh would look great too, you can customise it to be unique to you, & can always add to them after if you like, I like that you want them to mean something too, so many people get them done just for the sake of it, but it's a big step and if it means something, it's special, cause it'll be with you forever :)
No probs on checking out your blog, i'll be there on a regular basis i think x
Really like the family one.
ReplyDeleteThanks, it was my first, so it'll always be special lol :)
DeleteI'm thinkong about getting a bear in my arm, you know bravery strength and staff ;]
ReplyDeleteSounds good, I like that you've got meanings behind it too, a bear would look cool, but you gotta find the right one, it took me 6 months to find my wolf, his face had to be perfect lol :)
DeleteVery nice, I like them :D
ReplyDeleteFOLLOWING
Thanks very much :)
DeleteCool tats! Following!
ReplyDeleteCheers for that :)
DeleteCool blog following :)
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you very much :)
DeleteThe second of your two favs is awesome. That ones my favorite. Nope haven't got a one either, not a fan of needles because I never no where they have been, blame my ocd...haha
ReplyDeleteIt's awesome hey, i'm so pleased with it, thanks :) I'm not a big fan of needles either, but I wanted one sooo much i went for it & the rest is history, but I can understand where you're coming from with the whole OCD thing, nightmare :( Loving all the rhymes too btw, don't know how you do it :)
DeleteYour tattoos are lovely, Dani! I love Native American art, too. Strange for a girl from Africa! I would love to get some tats done, myself, but alas, I never seem to have money! One day!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your newest addition! :)
Aww Thanks so much, & I know the feeling about te money sidee of it, they certainly don't come cheap that's for sure :( But it's a good investment hehe, hope your one day comes soon :) & thanks for the follow x
DeleteI like your 2nd favourite one A LOT, really nice tattoo. I'm looking forward to getting tattoos done when I actually start making enough money. I wanna get LOADS though, like, ridiculous amount :P
ReplyDeleteThanks very much :) & yeah you certainly need a few quid to get them, hope you start making enough soon then & there's no such thing as a ridiculous amount . . . the more the better in my eyes hehe :) cheers for the follow too :D
DeleteI think they are beautiful. The wolf is so detailed!
ReplyDelete*Erin
Thanks Erin, I've got a lot of love for my wolf (&dream catcher) ust a shame i can't really see them unless I look in the mirror hehe x
DeleteI was raised with the notion that tattoos are not aesthetically pleasing and therefore "dirty". But since it's the person's personal preference then I have no grudge against that.
ReplyDeleteI don't own a tattoo but I like the Chinese one though, it's small and simple but makes a bold statement.
following :)
Hey, I can understand that notion, not everyone likes them & a lot of people don't agree with them, but each to their own :) Thanks for the like on my symbol & the follow :)
Deletethey're all yummy ^_^
ReplyDeleteHehe, you should know ;p x
DeleteLove your tatts! Really beautiful. I have 2.. one of a wolf howling into the moon on my chest, and another of a wolf with a medicine wheel on my arm. I love all things native american as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining my blog.
Aww thank you very much :) Yours sound lovely too, & great taste you have, what with the whole wolf & native american indian things :)) & No probs for joining your blog either, your pics are amazing, that's another love of mine :) Must get put up, took a couple today :)
Deletehi dani, your tattoos are all well done! :) your latest musical treble clef with native american roots, is probably my favorite. i think tattoos are an expression of art on the body. sort of like clothing, except permanent. yes i have a tattoo. no, it didn't hurt. my tattoo is a peace dove, similar in style to the artist picasso, but different. it has a heart inside the wing. it is on my back, kind of looking over my right shoulder.
ReplyDeleteHiya Teddi, thanks for that, I've always wanted something to do with music, cause I love it so much, have to listen to some genre every day for an hour or so, or I go crazy hehe & Tatts are very much so an expression of art, some people hang theirs, we wear ours, i like the sound of yours, i like that the dove is on your shoulder, kind of like looking after/over you, very nice :)
DeleteThanks :)))
ReplyDeleteno tat's never will. It's not religious or anything, I just think that skin is inherently interesting and the art distracts and detracts from it.
