My Tatts :)

It's Frisky Friday peeps :D

Just thought i'd share some of my tattoos, since i'm thinking of
getting another one, bit of an addict I am :)

'TATTOOS are one of the only things you can take to the grave
Having tattoos does not make someone a delinquent
Some people hang their art . . . We wear ours ;)'
There's still a lot of stigma about tattoos, let alone tatts on a woman.

What do you guys think about Tatts
& do you have any???

The symbols were my first tattoo
& after that I was hooked
I then had the flowers done around
the outside a couple of years later
It means Family :))

This is my dreamcatcher,
1 of 2 of my favs :)
I just love, 3 & a half hours
of pain but so
so worth it . . .

This is the 2nd of my 2 favs,
took 4 hours all in all
again painful but i'm loving it
totally worth it & totally addictive

This is my sons initials,
didn't take long &
didn't hurt at all :))

This one is the
chinese symbol on my neck
it means strength

This was my last one,
links my love of music
& all things native American

  1. Those look good. I especially like the dream catcher. My father had tattoos so I grew up around them - just don't have any myself. But I admire the effort to do them and to get them.

    1. Thanks, I've always loved tattoos, since was about 13, took me until I was about 24 to get the first one lol, too chicken, but ever since then, i've had an addiction to them lol.

I love everything & anything to do with Native American Indians, i've got loads of dreamcatchers, but that one, is one I got in Canada, took it my tattooist & asked him to draw it up, then ink it up, one of a kind :)

it was a bit hard for me to read your comment since my internet won´t show up comments and followers until a few minutes pass and they magically appear.lol.
    whatever my computer is crazy.
truth be told i still can't see if you are following me or not but i guess it will appear as your comment appeared.
i too have a thing for tattoos, i want to get one on my wrist and one on my back.
i want them to be an Ankh and a chinese letter or another symbol that will mean something to me.

    1. Hey, yeah I am following you, but i'm a bit new to this, (still a blogging virgin) lol,

As for the tatts, thanks for the comment about my dreamcatcher, i love it :))) & the ankh would look great too, you can customise it to be unique to you, & can always add to them after if you like, I like that you want them to mean something too, so many people get them done just for the sake of it, but it's a big step and if it means something, it's special, cause it'll be with you forever :)
No probs on checking out your blog, i'll be there on a regular basis i think x

    1. Sounds good, I like that you've got meanings behind it too, a bear would look cool, but you gotta find the right one, it took me 6 months to find my wolf, his face had to be perfect lol :)

  11. I was raised with the notion that tattoos are not aesthetically pleasing and therefore "dirty". But since it's the person's personal preference then I have no grudge against that.

I don't own a tattoo but I like the Chinese one though, it's small and simple but makes a bold statement.

    following :)

    1. Hey, I can understand that notion, not everyone likes them & a lot of people don't agree with them, but each to their own :) Thanks for the like on my symbol & the follow :)

  13. hi dani, your tattoos are all well done! :) your latest musical treble clef with native american roots, is probably my favorite. i think tattoos are an expression of art on the body. sort of like clothing, except permanent. yes i have a tattoo. no, it didn't hurt. my tattoo is a peace dove, similar in style to the artist picasso, but different. it has a heart inside the wing. it is on my back, kind of looking over my right shoulder.

    1. Hiya Teddi, thanks for that, I've always wanted something to do with music, cause I love it so much, have to listen to some genre every day for an hour or so, or I go crazy hehe & Tatts are very much so an expression of art, some people hang theirs, we wear ours, i like the sound of yours, i like that the dove is on your shoulder, kind of like looking after/over you, very nice :)

  14. no tat's never will. It's not religious or anything, I just think that skin is inherently interesting and the art distracts and detracts from it.
